Datenrate: Einheiten im Überblick
Internet-Tarife werden in Bit pro Sekunde angegeben (Mbit/s), Dateigrößen und Downloadanzeigen in Byte (MB/s). Weil ein Byte 8 Bit hat, teilst du durch 8: 100 Mbit/s sind 12,5 MB/s. In der Praxis kommt etwas weniger an, weil auch Steuerdaten übertragen werden.
